Sniper Action Photo Launches Instant Facial Recognition Across Multiple Global Attractions

Sniper Action Photo is proud to announce the launch of our next-generation Guest Media Fulfillment Platform, now featuring instant Facial Recognition: the fastest and most seamless way for guests to find every photo taken during their visit.

This upgrade eliminates the need for QR-codes, wristbands, RFID tags, or manual lookup methods. With a single facial scan, guests instantly access their complete gallery whether captured by automated cameras, roving photographers, or multi-experience photo stations. The system works across varied lighting, angles, expressions, sunglasses, helmets, and high-speed action.

As always, Sniper Action Photo continues to deliver world-class automated photography and video solutions built for high-volume attractions. Facial recognition now raises the bar even higher.

Below are the first attractions now operating on our new facial recognition platform:

Mystic Mountain, Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Mystic Mountain guests participate in several high-adrenaline activities including the world-famous Bobsled, the Sky Explorer chairlift, Ragamuffin roller coaster, and zipline adventures.

With facial recognition powered by Sniper Action Photo, guests simply scan their face and instantly retrieve every photo from every activity. Located steps from the busy Ocho Rios cruise ship port, the system handles extremely high daily volumes with ease.

Mystic Mountain

Buena Vista del Rincón , Guanacaste, Costa Rica

At Buena Vista, guests experience a wide range of activities: ziplines, horseback riding, waterslides, and more. Sniper Action Photo supports both automated camera systems and roving photographers, with all photos uploaded instantly to each guest’s personal gallery.

It’s not unusual for some guests to walk away with 40–50 fully organized photos, all found instantly through facial recognition.

Buena Vista Del Rincon

Moody Gardens: ICE LAND , Galveston, Texas

At the massively popular ICE LAND attraction, a souvenir photo is captured at the entrance and guests then continue through the massive ice-carving attraction.

At the end of the experience, they scan their face at a kiosk to instantly load their photos and choose from a variety of on-site print sizes or a digital copy. Guests who skip the kiosk can still retrieve their photos online afterward using the same facial recognition system. With thousands of visitors per day, instant matching keeps kiosk lines short and throughput high.
